The Plustek OptiCard 611 is an ultra-portable palm size
business card scanner. It turns your customers’ business
cards into a digital database, allowing you to scan your
business cards wherever you are, and to find all your
customers information on time, whenever you need.
The Plustek OptiCard 611 makes use of Business Card
Reader (BCR) technology to accurately scan and integrate
the business cards into the HotCard BizCard Finder application.
This particular application has the capability to recognize
cards in nine different languages.
It automatically recognizes company’s name, address
and website address as well as person’s name, email,
mobile number, phone and fax number as mentioned on the
card. This information from business cards scanned is
automatically transferred and stored into a database.
The HotCard BizCard Finder application has a user-friendly
interface that allows users to search, sort, categorize
and edit their database in a simple manner. Users can
perform search operation on the database using different
keywords like first name last name, designation, company
name etc., to find the information of their contact in
time.
All contact information can be very simply synchronized
or exported to Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Excel
and vCard file; as well as portable digital assistant
(PDA) devices like Palm. In addition, the business card
database can be printed on custom-made labels, envelopes,
letters etc.
Plustek OptiCard 611 is extremely easy to use. The business
card is induced into the scanner automatically, without
pressing any button whatsoever. This is a helpful feature
especially in increasing the speed of the scanning process
and comes very handy while dealing with multiple customers
at a busy front-desk or reception.
