Money back Guarantee
All of the products found on the Plustek Shop come with a complete 7-day Money Back Guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with any purchased product for any reason, you can return it for a refund. Please check out our Return Policy for complete details and instructions.
 
One Year Limited Liability Warranty
PLUSTEK warrants this product against defect in material or workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase. If this product proves to be defective, contact PLUSTEK’s customer support for repair or replacement of your unit. Return requests can not be processed without the proof of original date of purchase. Please also notice the below limitation to return requests:
1. If PLUSTEK determines that the returned product was damaged as a result of inadequate protection / packaging on your part, this warranty becomes void.
2.

If the product fails due to damage during return shipment back to PLUSTEK, handling, storage, accident, abuse or misuse, or if it has been used or maintained in a way that does not conform to instructions provided with product, this warranty becomes void.

3. This warranty becomes invalid if the factory-supplied serial number on the product has been removed or altered in any way.
4. Repair by anyone other than PLUSTEK or an approved agent also voids this warranty.
5. The maximum liability of PLUSTEK is the product purchase price.
 
Returning New Product that is defective
If you found your new product is defective please contact PLUSTEK customer support for replacement. Plustek Customer Support contact information as below:

For end user who bought the product(s) directly from Plustek LA office, to receive credit for return item(s), product(s) must be return within 15 days from the invoice date. A minimum of 15% will be charge as a restocking fee against any return merchandise.
 
Return Materials Authorization Policy
You must obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from PLUSTEK Customer Support before returning a product. The contact information is the same as the above.
Products returned without an RMA number will not be processed and will be returned to you.
  • PLUSTEK itself does not give refunds or offer product upgrades. Refunds come from the PLACE OF PURCHASE only.

    Proof of purchase is required in order to receive warranty service.

    Return shipping is prepaid by the customer.
  •  
    International customers may be subject to duties, taxes and brokerage fees. Customers are responsible for fees incurred.
     

    In-warranty Repair and Replacement Procedure

    Do not ship your product to PLUSTEK before contacting customer support.

     
    1. Obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number by contacting customer support.
    2. A Customer Support Representative will do troubleshooting to see if the product is defective. If the product is defective, then this information is required:
     
  • Your contact information
  •  
    Product serial number
  •  
    Proof of purchase
  •  
    Credit card information for optional shipping services
     
    Note: Please do not send your credit card information through email, please provide the information by fax.
     
    3.

    The Customer Support Representative will provide you with an RMA number and shipping information. Please be sure to write this down.

    4.

    Package product securely.

    You must include all manuals, software, cables, mounting brackets, and any other hardware or accessories. Include your contact information with your name, address, phone number, and RMA number inside the original package.
    When returning the product, you must ship the product in its original packaging and maintain it in an equal degree of protection as you were receiving the product.

    5. Send the product to the RMA fulfillment address given by customer support. Clearly write your RMA number on the outside of the package you are returning.
    Customers are responsible for the freight charges. We suggest using a carrier that provides tracking information. PLUSTEK is not responsible for packages lost in transit on the way to PLUSTEK.

    "Out of Warranty" Products
    If your product is not covered under warranty, we offer Repair Services for a fee. PLUSTEK warranty only covers failures due to defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty does not apply if, in the judgment of PLUSTEK, the product fails due to damage from shipment, handling, storage, accident, abuse or misuse, or damage that is attributable to acts of God, or if it has been used or maintained in a manner not conforming to product manual instructions, has been modified in any way, or has had any serial number removed or defaced.


    "Out of Warranty" Repair Service Procedure
    (Repair Service only available to customers in the U.S. and Canada)
    1. Obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number by contacting customer support.
    2.

    A Customer Support Representative will do troubleshooting to see if the product is defective. If the product is defective, then this information is required:

  • Contact information

    Product serial number

    Credit card (MasterCard and Visa)
     
    Note: Please do not send your credit card information through email, please provide the information by fax.
     
    2.

    Customer support will give you a Repair Service Order (RSO) number and shipping information. Be sure to write this down.

    3. Package the product securely. Please include all manuals, software, cables, mounting brackets, and any other hardware or accessories. Include your name, address, phone number, and RSO number inside the package.
    4. Send the product to the PLUSTEK Customer Service Center address given by customer support.
    Write your RSO number clearly on the outside of the package.
    We suggest using a carrier that provides tracking information. PLUSTEK is not responsible for any packages lost in transit. International customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or brokerage fee.

    “Out of Warranty” Repair Parts Guarantee
    Products for Repair Services are covered by a 1 year warranty from invoice date for the repaired part only. Invoice of Repair Service from PLUSTEK will be required to obtain warranty service.
     
    Payment Method
    For your convenience, The Plustek Shop will accept VISA and MasterCard. Your credit card is billed/credited at the time the order is placed. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and daytime telephone number, which your credit card issuer has on file for you. Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order. The Plustek Shop reserves the right to accept or decline any order for any reason.
     
    Tax Policy
    All the prices listed in The Plustek Shop do not include tax, shipping or handling fee.
     
    Shipping Options
    The Plustek Shop uses UPS Ground for all orders placed within the continental United States. Total shipping charges are calculated based on the quantity and model of product(s) you order. No international billing or shipping addresses are accepted, except Canada. Please note The Plustek Shop cannot deliver to P.O. Box addresses. All shipments are subject to stock availability.
     
    Return Policy
    All of the Plustek Shop's products are covered by a 7-day Money Back Guarantee, less shipping and handling. After the 7-day Money Back Guarantee period has ended, support for defective products will be provided by our technical support group (www.plustek.com/support).
    Please refer to the following instructions before sending your original item back:
    1. If your product(s) become(s) defective, or you wish to return or exchange your product(s), within the first 15 days of your invoice date, you may return it for a credit, or a replacement. Before returning any item, please refer to and provide the following information when requesting a replacement: (refer to packing slip).

    6. In order to return merchandise, you must call 714-670-7713, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 15 days of your invoice date or e-mail to supportusa@plustek.com for further instructions.
    7. No returns, of any type, will be accepted without an RMA number. Please be sure to physically inspect your Plustek Shop product(s) before opening any bundled software. For defective software, the Plustek Shop authorizes same-item exchange only.
    8. The RMA number is good for only one purchase transaction and must match the product authorized for return.
    9. All products (unless noted on The Plustek Shop site) are sold with the one year manufacturer's warranty.
    10. You are responsible for shipping and insurance charges related to the return of the original product(s). In order to receive full credit, return your product after obtaining an RMA. All items must be in "as-new" condition, in original packaging and with all warranty cards, manuals and accessories. Any missing items could result in a delay or partial forfeiture of your credit. There will be a re-stocking fee of 15% of purchase value for products returned, including return in a damaged box, or return in a non-original box.
    11. All items being returned must be received in The Plustek Shop warehouse within 10 days of receipt of your RMA number and return instructions. Any discrepancies could result in a delay or complete forfeiture of your credit.
    12. The Plustek Shop will ship a replacement or exchange product(s) upon receipt of the returned product(s) via UPS Ground. The Plustek Shop will pay for the shipping charges necessary for you to return the defective product(s) within 10 days from purchase date. Unless, a returned product(s) is found to not be defective at which point return shipping will be charged to the customer.
